SLC selects one student scholar from each of the three Salisbury high schools to receive a five-hundred-dollar scholarship for college based on need. The club also sponsors the David Dulany Sportsman's Award. At the conclusion of each high school football season, the Lions recognize one football player from each of the city high school for sportsmanship displayed on the playing field. The winner is chosen by opposing teams. The award is named after long-time Lion who was instrumental in forming many of the area youth leagues. The Waller and McCool Trophies are awarded each year to Wicomico Counties most outstanding male and female basketball player. Recipiences are selected by a panel of coaches and media representatives.
